Early this Month I got an opportunity to travel with the
Femina Believe’s team for their Launch in Pune. For those who have been living
under a rock and are not familiar with them. They conduct short Personality
development workshops covering various courses such as Makeup & Skincare,
Styling, Dining Etiquette, Communication skills & body language. The
workshops are conducted is Mumbai, Delhi NCR and now also in Pune. Best in class
Femina Believe trainers, warm and conducive learning environment make their workshops a unique learning experience.

I and a couple of more Pune bloggers got together and
attended the Makeup workshop which was taught to us by renowned International
Makeup Artist Amrit Kaur. The 3 Hour work shop covered four different makeup
looks for summer and also a ton of tips and tricks, couple of which I will be
sharing with you all.
Out of the four looks the first two were demonstrated on me!

Natural Glow: Natural Glow is the No makeup-makeup look. To
get this look get your eyebrows well groomed and apply a few coats of your
favorite mascara followed by white or brown kohl pencil to make your eyes look
bigger. Use neutral shades on the eyelids and lips.
Bright & Bronze: To achieve the Bright and bronze look
apply a mineralized bronzer on the areas where the sun usually hits you (Forehead,
bridge of your nose, chin and cheek bones). Then contour with a matte bronzer
(side of your forehead, hollows of your cheeks, side of your nose and jaw
line). The key is to blend, blend and blend. Opt for a bright earthy colour on
your cheeks.
The other two makeup looks are:
Flower power: The flower power look has a lot of pastels
shades which is in trend this season. To get this look you will fill in your
brows and apply falsies to achieve full voluminous lashes. Then you will add a
hint of pink on the cheeks followed by your favorite nude lippie. Don’t forget
to mix and match pastels in your eye shadows and your lip colour.
Amazing Azure: Nothing bring backs summer like blue sea and
bright sky. For this look use a water-resistant base for your makeup then line
your eyes with sea blue waterproof liner and neon pink lips. If you want that
extra sparkle then add glitter around the eyes.
Some of the mind blowing tips that I learned during the
workshop:
– The
thinner you base makeup is the younger you will look.
– Use
Colour correcting primer i.e. green corrector to neutralize redness,  Lilac corrector to highlight and brighten
pink corrector hide dark circles etc.
– Opt for
a lose powder to set your foundation.
– Apply
concealer on the edges of the eyes and then blend with your ring finger.
– Skip the
kohl and use matte eye shadows as it won’t spread.
Some of the brushes that Amrit suggest were Mac Makeup
brushes in 130 to apply foundation, 116 to apply powder, 163 to contour.

Over all it was a fun evening, full of learning and making
new friends. I can assure that these workshops will not only boost your
confidence and style quotient but will also educate you holistically towards
improving yourself all around and eventually realizing your true potential as a
woman. I strongly recommend attending these for any woman looking towards
replenishment of her style and self-belief. If you want to enroll in any of
their courses you can head over here.
