2 AM. The clock by my bedside tells me I have three hours to go before I wake up again. Kind of hurts. Wish I would’ve slept a bit earlier. But for now, I’ll have to manage with a handful of hours of sleep. I have a very important shoot tomorrow and I’ll be missing my routine jog. Snoozing the morning alarm is a luxury few of us can afford.

Getting out of my cozy bed at an early hour is not easy. But work comes first. I don’t want to be late today, particularly because I’m working with this photographer for the first time. I hope I’ll be able to reach him at the location, given that we are shooting in the outskirts of the city.

At the rustic location, the full network bars on my phone bring a smile to my face. They tag along with me everywhere I go – in the interior parts of the city, in the outskirts and everywhere I go for a vacation. I definitely need more reliable companions like Airtel in my life.

I meet up with the photographer and we have a great shoot with the wind blowing in the open location. This one was a good one. Already looking forward to the amazing pictures.

After such a long and productive shoot, my stomach calls for attention. I search top nearby cafes to grab a bite. I anyway missed my breakfast in the morning. I really enjoy going alone for breakfast. I think people should go out more often to have a good time with just themselves. For me, it’s also a good time to check on email and social media updates.

Post-breakfast, it’s time to hop on to the next task for the day. I’ve to reach a friend’s place to plan a surprise birthday party for a common friend. On my way to her place, I pick up her favorite chocolates. Before we realize, it’s time to head out for lunch. We have a leisurely one. After getting our tums full, we explore YouTube and Pinterest and got some amazingly creative ideas for the surprise party. Can’t wait to see the birthday girl’s reaction to our efforts!

We did not even realize and it’s 7 PM already. Both of us are starving but none of us enjoy cooking, so we agreed on quickly going through Zomato and ordering our favorite pizza. And there it is, it’s pizza day! It’s always so much fun being around her, I always lose sense of time. It’s 10 PM and it looks like it’s about to rain. I should head home. I bid my friend adieu.

I wish I had checked the traffic before stepping out of the house. I have been stuck in this immovable traffic for a while now. I decided to call an old friend from college to pass my time. It has been a long time since we talked to each other. We talked for hours, reminiscing about the good old days. Thankfully, I have Airtel now. Unlike my old network with always had an annoying message that said, ‘No network, emergency calls only!’. Now I am always connected and can make the most out of my day.

I get back home. It’s been a long day. I doze off to some mellow music.
